VOXverse

The unifying concept that ties all of these different characters together was officially announced at Galaverse Las Vegas in December 2021. Gala also revealed that Will Wright (The Sims) and Gallium Studios had been brought on to develop the world known as VOXverse, a metaverse that would take VOX beyond the scope of being only a generative art project with some cross-platform perks, but instead now unique characters within a whole world.

Rare, Legendary, and Ancient VOXverse land parcel NFTs were given to Galaverse 1 ticket holders, and lands of all different rarities were given at random to some of the series 4 Trolls VOX buyers. Adventure Pack NFTs containing VOXverse resources were dropped to VOX owners in late May of 2022, and in July Gala held a limited free mint and then a sale for VOX Souls (attribute boosters).

There had been a small simulation town built out immediately after the launch of series 1, but it wasn’t until late 2022 that the community was able to see the depth of the undertaking when Gala and Will Wright released a video showing samples of the art and describing the interactive mechanics between characters. A limited demo gave VOX owners a chance to see a small part of the world being developed.
