What are the NFTs that drive the community?

Founders Access Passes are what allow members of the community to be a part of the developmental journey. This batch of 10,000 NFTs was minted by the community last summer, with a minting price of $50 USD. Those that wanted to be involved with this first event had to fill out an application built on 4 criteria: When you joined the community, how active you have been, how active you are in overall gaming ecosystem, vision for what you believe makes a good PvP shooter. The purpose of this process was to ensure that those that would be labeled as "founders" had positive intentions for the greater Midnight Society community.

Those that hold Founders Access Passes are given a plethora of utility within Midnight Society and DEADROP. First and foremost, those that hold these NFTs are given the title of "Variant" and are given access to play the game in its developmental stages. This gives players the behind-the-scenes experience that we only dreamed of years ago, and now have the opportunity to not only play but involve themselves with the progression of development. Every few months, Midnight Society holds a snapshot for their Founders Pass holders, giving them the chance to voice opinions for changes and vote on implementations of new game elements. On March 17th, the next snapshot is taking place alongside a massive Midnight Society event in Arlington, TX. Information about this event is secretive, but we are more than excited to see what Midnight Society announces next.

Those with these NFTs are also given a one of one callsign, ability to customize and commercialize their Variant character, access to weapon testing and new game builds, first dibs on any merch releases, and exclusive rights to studio events just to name a few. They have also announced that Founders Access Passes will have perpetual utility within the Midnight Society ecosystem beyond DEADROP in addition to all of the current benefits.
