About the Game

$Boaty token is a community driven initiative to build the game that we all dreamed about and deserve - the new Mirandus. It is our intent to use the funds raised from the launch of $Boaty to hire as many of the former developers and creative minds of the Mirandus team as we feasibly can. The game will not be Mirandus, nor will it contain Mirandus art, design, NFTs, or anything else promised in the game (unless the original creators agree to #MakeMirandusOpenSource). It will be a new medieval fantasy MMORPG with fresh ideas aimed at creating a player owned and driven economy, with one big change - A FOCUS ON DELIVERING.

To do this, all $Boaty tokens outside of the airdrop are being assigned to the GG Collective.

The GG Collective's mission is to revitalize and fortify community-driven support for web3 ecosystems. Through fostering fanaticism from indie game players and developers, the Collective endeavors to lower entry barriers by offering fun, simple games and an inclusive space for gamers and developers alike. The creators' intention behind this action is not personal gain, but rather to actually put the control of this new game in the hands of the community. The GG Collective will vote on an individual to "head up" the new game team and keep it accountable to the GG Collective Community. This person will not be in charge of game design or in-game decisions, but rather ensure direction and intent matches that of the community's wishes. This person will be held responsible to the GG Collective community through terms and reporting requirements. There will be safety precautions put in place should this person act in any way outside of the best interests of the GG Collective. We are doing this to ensure that no one person ever have the power to completely rug the entire game or game team.
